SUPPORT THE CHILDREN
Need Help? Don't Go It Alone!

Navigating the special education process for a child with a disability can be an overwhelming task. Creating an appropriate education plan for your child can make a lifelong positive impact. My IEP Advocate can help!
What is child advocacy?
A child advocate is someone who helps a special-needs child obtain individual accommodations and assistance in the classroom. A child advocate also guides parents through the process of obtaining an individualized learning plan and communicates directly with schoolteachers and administrators on behalf of the parents and child. The goal is to ensure that the child receives a proper learning plan so that the child can thrive in the classroom.
My Educational Solutions exists to guide children with learning disabilities with individualized education plans from preK-12th grade. We excel in helping children with special needs achieve their full potential, both academically and behaviorally.
An IEP is an Individualized Education Program. It is essentially a learning plan made especially for a child who has a learning disability and is struggling in the general classroom. The IEP provides a blueprint for individual support, services, and accommodations that a child needs to excel at school. 504 plans are like IEPs, but they are not specifically pertinent to special education in the same way as IEPs. Many parents are unfamiliar with the process of creating an IEP or 504 plan and are unaware of how to obtain help for a child with learning difficulties. Without the assistance of an advocate, this can be a difficult and overwhelming endeavor.
IEP Advocacy For All is a non-profit community-based resource where families can obtain assistance with child advocacy services. We are here to guide and educate parents on the process of planning and establishing an IEP or 504 plan. Our Mission is to provide child advocacy services for low-income families in need of support and guidance. Every parent that has a child with special needs can benefit from the consultation with an expert in IEPs and 504 Plans. We are committed to students having what they need through the school system to be able to achieve their full potential, both academically and behaviorally. We believe that all children are born capable of greatness.
